About Us

Downeast Horticulture & Design LLC owner Paul Conklin holds a B.S. in Environmental Protection from West Virginia University. His extensive work tenure of over 30 years in the “green” industry includes two of the top-ranked lawn and landscape companies in the country—TruGreen and Bartlett Tree Experts. Paul started his own full-service landscaping business in 1995 and today resides in Lamoine, Maine, where he serves the Down East area as Downeast Horticulture and Design LLC. Here he draws upon his years of hands-on experience to help clients realize the full potential of their outdoor living spaces.
